About the Event

In this full-day workshop with Anne-Lise Lancaster*, we will discover what listening skills are, why we need them more than ever in our World today and how they can enhance and deepen all our interactions.

Of course, the other side of listening is being heard, so we will take a mindful look at how we can express ourselves effectively, without causing unintended offence or diminishing ourselves or others in the process. If you’ve ever felt your voice has not been heard or your concerns dismissed, exploring these issues can be a little frightening at first but can really help to empower us to speak out and speak up effectively when the time comes.

In the afternoon, we will have the opportunity to experience what taking part in a Listening Circle feels like and perhaps reflect on ways we can introduce this gentle structure as part of our professional and family…
