About the Event
A 4-week course exploring the context we live in, the impact of the climate crisis, and how we can work together to build a zero carbon, nature friendly, socially just city.
Do you want to learn what it means to be part of a growing movement to transform our city? Our 4-week “taking climate action in Leeds” course is for you! Our participatory workshops are designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to take a more active role in transforming our city.
The four sessions wil run fortnightly, covering:
23rd January: Leeds - where do we live?
In this first session, we will consider the context we live in. What is Leeds like? What is our experience of living here? What do we know about this city, and what do we still need to learn?
6th February: understanding climate change and climate justice
