Our participatory workshops are designed to equip you with the knowledge, skills and confidence to take a more active role in transforming our city.

Taking Climate Action is a 4-week course exploring the context we live in, the impact of the climate crisis, and how we can work together to build a zero carbon, nature friendly, socially just city.

Climate Action Leeds’ new Community Wealth Building report offers a broad overview of what CWB stands for and its potential to generate socio-economic benefits for the city and its local communities while addressing climate and ecological concerns.

The report makes recommendations in several areas, drawing extensively on the existing work in place in Leeds and around the UK, ranging from procurement policies, employment, local infrastructure and land, as well as the local business community.

Education is preparation for reparations. By learning the histories of resistance of colonised people across the world, we understand that the problem started before the industrial revolution. The problem started when people created systems to exploit the earth-people for their gain during colonial times. Those same systems are still standing today.
