Seacroft's first-ever Community Climate Forum!

This Friday, 11th February at 7pm, Climate Action Seacroft are hosting the inaugural Seacroft Community Climate Forum, at Chapel FM Arts Centre.

This event will bring together local residents & professionals into a collaborative, community led conversation around climate change. The aim is to create a space where people and projects can connect, share and grow. We hope that new ideas will be born & existing initiatives will find more volunteers & support.

“Climate Action Seacroft is all about community. It’s about working together on projects that make a difference in our community for a healthier, safer and happier Seacroft for everyone!” Natalie Quatermass, Climate Action Seacroft Hub Worker.

There will be short presentations from groups including Seacroft Forest Garden and Killingbeck Community allotment, both of which are in the early stages of development. Young people from Chapel FM’s Red Kite radio station will be recording and presenting. There will be stalls, performances, short talks and discussion, a warm welcome and delicious refreshments. See you there!
